General Maintenance
This involves regular maintenance that will increase reliability and provide a pleasant riding experience. If any parts require replacement, they will be added to the cost of the service based on customer authorization.
Basic Tuneup $75.99
- Full safety inspection: brake pads, cables (brake and derailleur), chain, cassette, chain rings headset, pedals, tires, bottom bracket, wheels, stem, handlebars, seat post, saddle and frame
- Adjustments to: brakes, derailleur(front and rear), headset, bottom bracket, pedals, hubs
- True and Tension Front and Rear Wheels
- Lubricate derailleurs, chain, cables
- Inflate Tires to proper pressure
- Frame and fork wiped down
Tuneup and Clean $95
Includes Basic Tuneup services and the following additional services
- Cleaning of frame, fork and wheels (pre-existing blemishes and most road stains (tar, paint, etc.) may still be visible
- Inspection and cleaning of front and rear derailleurs, cassette, chain and chain rings
- Lubricate front and rear derailleurs, cassette attachment surface, cables, chain and chain rings
Tuneup and Overhaul $150 - $200
Includes all items listed under Basic Tuneup and Tuneup and Clean and the following additional services
- Removal of headset, bottom bracket and hub bearings
- Inspection of bearings for damage and wear
- Thorough cleaning of all bearings
- Repack bearings with recommended lubricant/grease
- Reinstallation of headset, bottom bracket and hub bearings to vendor recommended torque specifications
Wheels and Tires
This includes repair and replacement of common bicycle parts. Cost of parts purchased from iBicycle is not included.
Tire/Tube Replacement Labor $20.00
Tube replacement and tire inspection/replacement. Cost of tube and tire not included.
Wheel Truing $17
Before a wheel is trued, an assessment of the wheel's stability will be conducted (rim, spokes, hub will all be checked). Any safety concerns will be communicated to the customer.
Brakes
Front and Rear brake adjustment, cable and pad replacement
Brake Adjustment $15
Adjust front and rear brake pads (disc or rim brakes)
Brake Pad Replacement $15
Replace front or rear brake pads. Does not include the cost of brake pads.
Brake Cable Replacement $15
Cost differential is dependent on handlebar type. (no bar tape, bar tape).
Replacement tape, if required, will incur an additional charge.
Drive Train
This includes the chain, cassette, freewheel, or sprocket, front chain ring(s), crank, bottom bracket, pedals and front and rear derailleurs
Front Derailleur Adjustment/Replacement $20
Adjust the the set screws, cable and align derailleur as needed to ensure proper operation. Replacement charge includes the same adjustments, but a new derailleur will be installed. Cost of replacement derailleur is not included.
Rear Derailleur Adjustment/Replacement $20
Adjust the the set screws, cable and align derailleur as needed to ensure proper operation. Replacement charge includes the same adjustments, but a new derailleur will be installed. Cost of replacement derailleur is not included.
Chain Replacement $23
Replace chain with the proper vendor recommended replacement part. Cost of the chain is not included and will incur additional charge.
Derailleur Cable Replacement $20
Replace front or rear derailleur cable and housing. Cost of cable and housing is not included.
Derailleur Hanger Alignment $25
Straighten derailleur hanger of rear derailleur. Poor shifting, chain skip and derailleur hitting the spokes are symptoms of this issue. New hanger, if required, is not included in the service price.
Assembly and Installation
Bicycle Assembly
$95
Unbox, conduct parts inventory, assemble bicycle. Does not include disposal of box or other accessories not purchased from iBicycle.
Accessory Installation And Customization
$10-$35
Installation of common accessories, bike computers, racks, baskets, lights.
Customization may include new seat, seat post, stem, handle bars, wheels, etc.
As Indicated above, the costs identify Service charges. Replacement parts, If required, may affect the final cost of the service.
